This year’s cookoff was another great time. We had some new competitors and some return entries. Some tried to improve on old recipes, some created all new recipes, and others stayed true to their favorites.
One continuing trend really stood out this year. More kids and more dogs than ever. One participant even commented that we should dub this the “Chili and Dog Show”. I don’t think it will stick, but you never know!

Last year, the CCMG website was attacked by unscrupulous hackers. They uploaded inappropriate material that resulted in our being banned from search engines like Google and Yahoo. They deleted files that resulted in broken links throughout the site. They also uploaded profiles in our Photo Gallery, that contained links to Russian and Chinese pornographic sites.
Some people just need a life!
We’re back in business!
This site has been completely rebuilt with tougher security, using a platform that will allow club members to submit their photos and trail stories more easily.
